Aziza Hummeid

Aziza joined Illinois Action for Children (IAFC) in September of 2023. She is the currently the CPSS Program Manager and facilitates relationships with all three CPSS communities (Aurora, North Lawndale, and Rockford), supporting implementation and capacity-building, and empowering beneficiaries to lead and inform the program. Aziza joined the CS3 team at the start of July 2024.

Prior to joining IAFC in 2023, Aziza was a graduate-level researcher, specializing in program evaluation through participatory methods. She earned a B.A. in Political Science from Indiana University and a master’s degree in International Public Service from DePaul University. She hopes to leverage her experience to improve community-based programs through equity-centered program design and evaluation.
