Doctora Alexandra Escobar is the CEO of Affirming Voices, LLC, founded in 2020. Affirming Voices addresses the lack of educational equity and impact of racism and injustice. It’s committed to partnering with educational organizations to realize a future in which every child can flourish unhindered by racism and injustice.

Doctora Escobar is a social justice equity leader with over 18 years of experience. She has worked tirelessly towards achieving educational equity, providing every child with the educational rigor, tailored supports, and resources they need to succeed. In addition, she supports educational organizations in developing and effectively implementing systemic, systematic, and sustainable educational equity policies and practices. Her moral compass informs her thoughts and actions.

Alex is the proud daughter of Colombian immigrants and doting dog mom to Bailey and Bodhi. She loves to travel, having visited 23 US states and 17 countries.
