Face-to-face meetings are important to building effective collaborations and moving forward on ambitious cross-system strategies. Meetings are an opportunity to share information, build and tend relationships, and engage new perspectives. Developing and implementing system change strategies, however, requires that meetings are a place where action learning happens and how members are prepared to do the real work of the collaboration after they leave the room.
